How To Redeem a Gift Certificate
Finding it
Your gift voucher code is a unique alphanumeric code sent by email when the voucher was purchased. A few things to know as you look for it:
- The email could be from Palo Alto Players, not from the person who gave you the gift. Look for the sender [email protected] (or search your inbox for “Palo Alto Players gift voucher”). The purchaser’s name and any personal message appear inside the email, not in the “From” field.
- It may have gone to the purchaser instead of directly to you. When buying, the purchaser chooses whether the voucher email is delivered to them or to you. If they had it sent to themselves, ask them to forward it — the code and any printed voucher will be in that email.

Applying it in a purchase
Here’s how to apply your gift at checkout:
- Choose the show and seats you’d like and add them to your basket.
- Login to your Palo Alto Players account (or create one) — gift vouchers can only be redeemed by a logged-in account holder.
- At the Payment step, enter your gift voucher code exactly as it appears (codes are case-sensitive; copy-paste is safest) and click Redeem Voucher. The value will be added as account credit.
- Check the Use available credit to pay for this order box. If the credit covers the full order, you’re done; if there’s a remainder, enter a card for the balance.
Any unused credit stays on your account for a future purchase.
